A Confession
AI has been transformative for Quave, my company. We're growing, delivering projects faster, and attracting clients from Silicon Valley, Europe, Asia, and Brazil—all because of AI.
But AI has completely disrupted my long-term plan. My vision was to eventually transition from CEO to CLO (Chief Learning Officer) at Quave. The problem? I'm not sure I can have an important role teaching developers how to code when AI is already learning to teach them everything they need to know.
Yet, I see an extraordinary opportunity here. Instead of just being a CLO for Quave developers, I can help rethink how education should work in the age of Generative AI.

This famous sentence doesn't have to remain true. With AI, we can empower everyone with internet access and a capable device to live in the future now—with some equality in exposure to the opportunities AI brings.
That's why the school is called Dist, from distributed. The goal is to create new, interactive, and engaging ways to learn that make world-class education accessible to everyone.
There's a personal dimension too. With a child on the way, I want to explore homeschooling approaches—not necessarily as a replacement for traditional school, but as a way to create engaging, fun content that makes learning effective and joyful. My first goal is simple: build a system good enough for myself. If I'm happy with how I'm learning and having fun, I believe others will enjoy it too.
